CORA'S COFFEE SHOP

For many people, breakfast is the most important meal of the day. And to arrive at Cora’s, situated one block from the Pacific Ocean in a bougainvillea covered open-air patio, is to experience a blissful morning. The inviting ambience is topped off with consistently delicious food.

An exceptionally fresh menu ranges from Mediterranean-style-- Buratta Caprese Omelette, Albacore Tuna Panino, or Italian Sausage served on Polenta; to California inspired dishes-- luscious Orange Blueberry Pancakes, exotic Wagyu Kobe Beef Burgers and mouth-watering Roast Chicken. The coffee is primo, the juices are always fresh squeezed.

Impeccable service runs like a well-oiled machine with a staff that has been there for over a decade. A truly perfect spot exemplifying the best of its type in LA.

LANGER'S

For over 60 years this Jewish deli known for their stellar pastrami, has been a long-standing institution in what is now a predominantly Latin neighborhood near downtown Los Angeles. In 2001, Langer’s Delicatessen was honored with the James Beard Award.

It was Al Langer who invented the technique of “re-baking” the rye bread on which the sandwiches are served, giving it the quintessential crispy crust surrounding a heavenly sour rye softness. Langer got his start in a variety of delis in the New York area that brought him a breadth of experience, including superior hand-slicing skills— one of the secrets to juicy and tender pastrami and corned beef.

The most popular sandwich, #19, is a great combo of pastrami, homemade coleslaw and Swiss cheese on rye. Other NY deli delights abound, such as potato latkes, smoked salmon, brisket, stuffed cabbage, blintzes, and a robust all day breakfast menu.

NATE 'N AL

Nate ‘n Al has been a tradition to the rich and famous, eccentric personalities, and deli-lovers in Beverly Hills for over 65 years.

Known for their satisfying Jewish comfort food favorites, like Corned Beef or Pastrami on rye, Beef Brisket, and Short Ribs. Delicious Matzo Ball Soup, Stuffed Cabbage, rich Chopped Liver, and dense Potato Pancakes are just like momma makes. And why shouldn’t their wild Smoked Nova Salmon be flown in from New York? Strudels and cheesecake are some of the many tempting dessert treats. Don’t miss the Nate ‘n Al Special Hot Dog, which Nora Ephron claimed would be her “last meal on this Earth”. A great option for breakfast, too.

Sweet motherly waitresses in 1950’s attire treat diners with warm smiles, no matter who they are. Nate ‘n Al is a real deli with heart.
